We are just over a month away from the Championships, and preparations are in full swing to welcome you to New Zealand. As it is July, marking the beginning of our winter, please ensure you bring warm clothing, including thick jackets(!). In Christchurch, temperatures can drop to zero degrees during this time. Expect frosty mornings, although we haven’t experienced snow in July since 2011 (https://my.christchurchcitylibraries.com/snow-days/ ).
Registrations
A friendly reminder that registration closes on June 5th, 2024. Please submit your registration soon. Additionally, indicate on the registration form if you would like to use the bus travel options or attend the gala. We need this information to make the necessary arrangements.
Visa Requirements
Please check the New Zealand Immigration website for your visa requirements. Citizens of some countries do not need to apply for a visa before traveling to New Zealand but must hold an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority). For more information, click here:

Training Venues
We will not be running a training camp before the Championships. However, we are working on arranging facilities for you and your team to reserve for fencing practice. Further information will be provided shortly.
Merchandise
We have prepared Commonwealth T-shirts, drink bottles, and sweat towels for sale. A link to purchase these items will be shared on our social media pages and website in the next few days. These items can be purchased online and are available for collection at the competition venue.
